Magisch motief (verbeterd) / Magic motif (improved)

Ik was niet helemaal tevreden over mijn eerste versie van het ‘magische motief’.
Dat betrof vooral de sluiting van de toer en de overgang naar de volgende toer.


Acryl, 5mm haaknaald, 9 X 9 cm / Acrylic yarn, 5mm hook, 4 X 4 in.

Bij versie 2 heb ik veranderd:
- het aantal opzetvasten is teruggebracht van 12 naar 8
Bij nader inzien zag ik dat het motief van Maggy Ramsay zo is opgezet.
- de halve vaste waarmee de toer gesloten wordt is hier gehaakt door de voorste lus
Door beide lussen is ook een optie.
- daarop is 1 losse gehaakt i.p.v. 2 als eerste vaste van de nieuwe toer
De overgang van de toeren is hier iets minder zichtbaar.

Ik ben van plan om ooit iets met deze motieven te maken.
Eerst het een en ander afmaken.

I was no quite content about the first version of the ‘magic motif’.
I did not like the way the row closed and the step up to the next row.
So I made some changes:
- the number of foundation sc’s is reduced from 12 to 8
I noticed that Maggy Ramsay’s motif was constructed that way.
- the slip stitch with which the row is closed is now crocheted trough the front loop
Both loops is also an option.
- the first stitch of a row is now 1 chain in stead of 2
The transition to the next row is a little less visible now.

I think I will make a project with these motifs in the future.
First finish the things I already started.
